Following a successful purchase at auction, bidders are advised that payment is due in full on or before 17:00 on Monday, 29 April. For purchases under $5,000, payment will automatically be charged to the credit card provided at the point of registration. All other payments must be issued via bank transfer. The successful bidder will receive a copy of their Bill of Sale and instructions to remit payment via email.

Buyer’s Premium
In addition to the final bid amount, a buyer’s premium is due on each lot purchased:

Cars:
10% + VAT on the total hammer price

Memorabilia and Motorcycles: 
20% + VAT on the total hammer price 

Please note VAT is applicable on the buyer’s premium, which is non-reclaimable.

Taxes/Import Duties
Buyers are responsible for any applicable duty and/or local taxes on any lots purchased. International bidders are advised to inform themselves of potential import duties that would be due upon the arrival of the lot to its final destination. An administrative fee of up to $800 + VAT will be applicable to oversee the customs entry. You are advised to speak with your local representatives in advance of the sale to understand what these costs may be. 

Buyers are required to make immediate arrangements for the collection and transport of purchased lots. It is the buyer’s responsibility to make their own arrangements, but RMS is pleased to offer our clients the services of the following companies:

Daily storage fees will commence from Friday, 2 May. Daily storage rates are as follows, as outlined in our Bidder’s Conditions of Business:

· €50 + VAT per day per car for France;

· $50 + VAT per day per car for Dubai, UAE;

· £25 + VAT per day per car for the UK;

· CHF15 + VAT per day per car for Switzerland;

· €15 + VAT per day per car for Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands.

Please note insurance is the sole responsibility of the buyer from the drop of the hammer.
