Delivered new to the German market in the fall of 2005 for the 2006 model year, this Porsche Carrera GT was specified in Guards Red over Dark Grey leather - one of the most iconic and desirable combinations available for the model. Of the 1,270 Carrera GTs produced, just 80 examples were finished in Guards Red, making it the rarest standard production colour offered from the factory.

Remaining in Germany throughout its life, the car has passed through the hands of just four careful owners from new. Most notably, the most recent owner retained the Carrera GT for nearly 15 years, during which time only around 1,000 kilometres were added to the odometer. Today, the car displays fewer than 21,000 km from new, with the majority of this mileage accumulated within the first decade of its life.

In May 2026, the car was inspected by respected Carrera GT specialist Jochen Bader. His report confirms that the car retains its original chassis, engine, gearbox, and steering rack, while remaining highly original throughout. Importantly, Bader also confirmed that the car remains accident-free and retains its original paintwork, with the characteristic honeycomb structure of the carbon-fibre body panels still clearly visible in several areas. All factory service campaigns have reportedly been completed. Further to this, a clutch wear measurement is scheduled to be carried out and will be added to the history file once available. The accompanying original service book documents servicing exclusively through Porsche Zentrum Stuttgart from new, including its most recent service carried out in September 2025 at 20,353 kilometres. Accompanying the car are its original owner’s manuals, original keys and a partial set of the original dark grey luggage (which was specified with the car when new).

Developed from Porsche’s abandoned late-1990s Le Mans prototype programme, the Carrera GT has become widely regarded as one of the defining analog supercars of the modern era. At its heart sits a naturally aspirated 5.7-litre V10 engine producing 612 horsepower, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox and a lightweight carbon-fibre monocoque chassis. The result is a driving experience that remains remarkably raw, mechanical, and involving - qualities that have only become more celebrated with time.

Combining one of the model’s rarest factory colours with long-term ownership, originality, documented specialist inspection, and a Porsche Zentrum service history, this German-delivery Carrera GT represents a particularly compelling example of Porsche’s landmark supercar. With fewer than 21,000 kilometres from new, it stands as an increasingly rare opportunity to acquire one of the most celebrated driver’s cars of its era.
