Successor to the 599 GTO and F12tdf, the 812 Competizione was unveiled in 2021 to extend the Ferrari trend of introducing a track-honed, hardcore edition of its contemporary front-engined V-12 grand tourers. The seven-speed dual-clutch transmission shifted through the gears more quickly, downforce levels increased, and weight was reduced by 38 kilograms.
However, it was the 6,496-cc naturally aspirated powerplant that dominated the technical enhancements. Lighter titanium con-rods, a new coating for the pistons and camshafts, plus a new crankshaft helped boost the rev limit by 600 rpm. The resulting 9,500 rpm red line made it the fastest-spinning internal combustion engine in Ferrari history. Rated at a staggering 830 PS, it was also the most powerful naturally aspirated Maranello motor at the time of its launch, with only the more recent 12cilindri of 2024 finally tying its output.
From the limited production run of just 999 coupés, the example offered here was extensively configured by its single registered owner via the Ferrari Personalisation Programme. They specified the historic, special-order shade of Canna Di Fucile (Italian for “gunmetal”). This darker hue is offset by the full-length Giallo Fly racing stripe that features a Nero border. The exterior further features the exquisite Scuderia shields set into the front wings and carbon fibre for the rear diffuser, side skirts, and front bumper inserts—the latter helpfully protected by the factory application of anti-stone chip film—a front-axle lift system, plus front and rear parking sensors and cameras. Meanwhile, Pirelli Colour Edition tyres with Yellow detailing wrap the 20-inch forged wheels that sit ahead of black callipers for the carbon brakes.
The cabin of the 812 Competizione is no less thoughtfully specified. The full Alcantara interior blends Charcoal and Tortora for the dashboard, headliner, and large-size carbon fibre racing seats, the latter incorporating Cavallinos stitched into the headrests in Charcoal thread. Continuing the generous application of composites, the centre console, door sills, steering wheel with LED shift indicator lights, and parcel shelf all present in carbon fibre. The car also features a black tachometer, JBL Hi-Fi Premium Sound System, and adaptive headlights.
Delivered via Francorchamps Motors Luxembourg, the 812 Competizione was collected by its owner, a prominent Ferrari collector, on 18 November 2022. Recorded with three service stamps, the car returned to its supplying dealer in November 2023, 2024, and 2025. Sparingly driven throughout, the Ferrari displayed 1,587 kilometres at the time of cataloguing. It is covered until November 2029 by the Ferrari Genuine Maintenance programme, which will transfer to the new owner.
Thoughtfully configured via the Ferrari Personalisation Programme and offered from its sole custodian, this tastefully specified example of the exhilarating 812 Competizione will immediately feature among the highlights of any performance car-themed collection.
